About Us

It all started in 1949, when a man named Lester Haas had an idea for a body shop. He found the ideal spot at 140 West Broadway, in Dover Ohio. Lester then built Haas body shop. Which to date has been in business for over 50 years. Dave Gilland went to work for Lester as a young boy. He took over the business sometime in the early seventies, and since then it has been a family owned and run business. Dave retired in 1987, leaving the business to his two sons, Mike and Steve Gilland.
